Gene Norman - Weather Safety
Certified Broadcast Meteorologist

Gene is a multiple Emmy and Associated Press award-winning meteorologist with more than 20 years of experience at NASA and on television. He’s guided viewers in Atlanta, Houston and Birmingham through some of the most dangerous weather conditions, including tornadoes, hurricane and ice storms.

He holds the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorologist Society (AMS) and has earned a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation. Additionally, he is a member of the National Weather Association. Gene earned a bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in meteorology from the University of Maryland.

His current role with WeatherCall combines Gene’s weather expertise with his passion for public safety providing cost-effective weather risk management solutions to a variety of industries. He is a sought-after speaker educating civic, community and business groups on weather safety strategies. .

Tom Kirby - Developing a Winning Safety Culture
President and CEO for HR & EHS Professionals

Tom has almost 30 years in manufacturing with 23 years in HR and EHS leadership. Tom has worked with both small and large manufacturing companies from coast to coast helping them develop the 21st century work force they need to be successful.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky. He has his SPHR designation from SHRM and is a certified Facility Safety and Health Professional (FSHP). As Secretary of the Georgia House of Representatives’ Labor and Industry committee, Tom is extremely influential in the workers compensation laws in Georgia.
